Why It Matters
Opened 2017 as 25hours's second Zurich property. Features a rotating artist-in-residence program (free to view), a working pawn shop where guests can pay with art or objects, and a 7th-floor sauna with panoramic views over the Hauptbahnhof. Part of the Accor portfolio via Ennismore.
Sits right at the intersection of old Langstrasse and the gleaming Europaallee—where the former red-light district literally rubs shoulders with bank towers. Designer Werner Aisslinger ran hard with that contrast: 170 rooms split between louche seduction and buttoned-up bourgeoisie, arcade machines and cassette murals in the lobbies, polaroid cameras artfully placed in bedrooms. The ground-floor NENI restaurant and Cinchona Bar pull a real local crowd, not just hotel guests filling seats.

How you'll actually spend your days.
The ground-floor studio hosts rotating international and local artists who work in residence and leave artwork behind. The growing collection is curated by Zurich artist Esther Eppstein and is free for anyone to view.
Regular programming including concerts, readings, yoga classes, pizza-making workshops, pottery, and evening events with drinks and music. Schedule changes frequently — check the hotel's events page.
One of the hotel's signature quirks — guests can pay for their stay with art, curios, furniture, or decorative pieces. Weekend stays with breakfast can be covered this way. The 'Leihhaus' counter is on the ground floor.
Named bikes — Siegfried, Ludwig, Viktor, and Lotte — available for guests with a curated map of city cycling routes. Complimentary with Extra Large rooms, Trainspotting Suites, and Plaza Suites; likely a rental fee for other room types.
Hotel guests can test drive the Volvo EX30 electric SUV for private trips or business meetings. Exclusively for hotel guests.
