Book Tiger Lily in advance — the official FAQ warns it gets very busy and walk-ins can be tricky

Why It Matters

Brand-new 2024 opening on a historically off-limits island in Copenhagen Harbour. Victory bar on the 8th floor won Best Cocktail Bar Denmark 2026 and was a Spirited Awards Top 10 Europe pick in 2025. Tiger Lily restaurant, from the team behind beloved local eatery O-Ren Ishii, is perpetually packed. The building itself — designed by local firm COBE using bespoke Petersen Tegl bricks — is architecturally distinct.

Opened in July 2024 on the small manmade island of Christiansholm — better known as Paper Island — this 128-room hotel is 25hours' second Copenhagen outpost. The building is a former paper warehouse remodelled by Danish architecture firm COBE, with bespoke coal-fired bricks from Petersen Tegl and interiors by Gothenburg studio Stylt Trampoli. The whole place is styled like a Scandinavian summer house meets a curated village: mismatched furniture, vintage globes, eccentric sculptures, and nautical details at every turn. Three distinct drinking and dining venues round out the package, including Victory, one of Denmark's most decorated cocktail bars, perched on the 8th floor with sweeping harbour views.
