91 Athens Riviera
Athleisure glamping meets Mediterranean beach club. Earthy whites and beiges, canvas structures softened by olive trees, a lagoon out front, and an Aegean horizon out back. The place takes itself seriously about fitness — you'll see tennis bags over shoulders and yoga mats under arms — but the vibe flips to lively party mode come nightfall at Barbarossa.
Request a cabana away from the reception and tennis club for a quieter stay — proximity to Barbarossa can also bring ambient noise in the evenings
Why It Matters
First luxury glamping + private members club concept in the Mediterranean. The canvas cabanas come fully stocked with Marshall speakers, Nespresso machines, white-noise machines, foam rollers, and Naxos Apothecary toiletries. Barbarossa — a cult-followed Paros restaurant with outposts in Cairo and Bodrum — anchors the dining. The tennis offering (8 Roland Garros clay courts plus coaching) is genuinely serious, not just decoration.
Opened in June 2024, 91 Athens Riviera is Greece's first luxury glamping and private members club hybrid — 28 canvas 'Luxents' (think luxury tent, not sleeping bag) planted right on the Athenian Riviera in the suburb of Voula, about 30 minutes from central Athens. Developed by Grivalia Hospitality and designed by Chadios Architects, it's a collaboration with Domes Resorts that blends beachside chill with genuine athletic ambition: Roland Garros-style tennis, a 24/7 gym, and a proper spa bookending dinners at the famous Barbarossa.
