Ocean View Beach Villa
Two self-catering villas sitting directly on Gaatjies Beach, about 500m from the main hotel. This is barefoot luxury — large glass doors open onto the ocean, there's a private heated pool and hot tub, and an outdoor braai with wood provided. Sleeps up to four (two couples or a family). Check-in is done at the main hotel. Villa 1 has a slightly larger living space and a lock-up garage; Villa 2 has on-site parking.
King (convertible to twins)Oyster Villa Seaview Suite
Five brand-new adults-only suites in a separate villa building right on the beachfront. Each opens directly onto a shared sunlit patio and a long heated lap pool that overlooks the sea. A private path leads straight to the beach. There's also exclusive access to a private wellness area with sauna and cold plunge bath. The most premium option at the hotel for couples.
King
Penthouse Apartment
A two-bedroom apartment located just opposite the main hotel building. Modern layout with a balcony and outdoor braai. No sea views — but short walk to the beach and all hotel amenities including the pools, jacuzzi and sauna. Good value for families who want space without the beach villa price tag.
Seaview Suite
The top tier of the main hotel building. Each suite has its own private balcony with proper Atlantic ocean views. These are the rooms people are actually thinking of when they picture Abalone — calm, coastal light, and the sound of the ocean.
Self-Catering Apartment
A 1-bedroom self-catering apartment attached to the main hotel building. Convenient access to hotel amenities. Good for guests who want a bit more independence without going all-in on a full villa.
