Why It Matters
One of only three Brooklyn hotels to earn a Michelin Key in 2024. Also on the Condé Nast Traveler Hot List 2022, CNT Readers' Choice 2023, Travel + Leisure It List 2023, and Esquire Best New Hotels 2022. The building is literally built on top of an MTA subway tunnel — engineers used a Natural Rubber Building Vibration Isolation system to keep rooms quiet, which is an actual engineering feat.
Ace Hotel Brooklyn is a 13-story, 287-room ground-up build in Boerum Hill — right at the edge of Downtown Brooklyn and a block from the Hoyt-Schermerhorn subway station. The building was designed by Roman & Williams (facade and interiors) with Stonehill Taylor as architect of record. Raw exposed concrete meets Douglas fir, oak, and leather inside; the lobby doubles as a community living room by day and a swanky bar at night. Every room has floor-to-ceiling windows, and the upper floors pull in views stretching all the way to the Statue of Liberty.

The top-of-house option — a two-room suite on the top floor with floor-to-ceiling windows, sweeping skyline views, and two full bathrooms (one with a tub). King bed, two SMEG refrigerators (one full size, one mini), D'Angelico guitar, Music Hall turntable, custom Tivoli radio, original artwork from local artists, locally made and vintage furniture, wings+horns bathrobe. Basically the full Ace experience turned up to eleven.
KingCozy Room
Smaller king-bed room with the same standard Ace package: curated minibar, Tivoli radio, casting-compatible HD TV. Good option if you want a king but don't need extra square footage.

Two QueensLoft Room
A spacious corner loft at 525–555 sq ft — one of the more generous room types. King bed, floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides, D'Angelico acoustic guitar, Music Hall turntable, minibar, Tivoli radio. Some come with tubs. The corner position gives you an expanded view perspective.
KingMedium Room
The sweet spot at 325–375 sq ft. King bed, floor-to-ceiling windows, minibar, Tivoli radio. Select rooms have tubs and some come with a D'Angelico acoustic guitar or Music Hall turntable. This is where the room quality really starts to shine.
KingMedium Skyline Room
Same footprint as the Medium Room (325–375 sq ft) but positioned on one of the top four floors for proper skyline views. King bed, floor-to-ceiling views, minibar, Tivoli radio. Select rooms have tubs; some include a D'Angelico guitar or Music Hall turntable. This is the upgrade worth paying for.
KingOne Bed Suite
A proper two-room suite at 545–600 sq ft. Sweeping skyline views from floor-to-ceiling windows, king bed, full suite of entertainment — D'Angelico guitar, Music Hall turntable, Tivoli radio — plus a curated minibar. Good step up for a longer stay or a special occasion.
KingQueen Room
The entry-level room at 250–300 sq ft. Compact but properly equipped — queen bed, curated minibar, casting-compatible HD TV, and a custom Tivoli radio. Some rooms come with a D'Angelico acoustic guitar. Floor-to-ceiling windows let in light without necessarily giving you skyline drama.

Ace's Artist in Residence (AIR) program, first launched in 2014 at Ace New York, is active at Brooklyn. Artists stay and turn their rooms into working studios. The resulting work is displayed in the hotel's rotating gallery space.
