Adèle & Jules
Intimate, colorful Parisian chic. Interior designer Stéphane Poux layered moldings, ikat patterns, and geometric textiles to create something warm and personal. Not minimalist. Each floor has its own color scheme. Feels more like a well-appointed friend's apartment than a hotel.

Why It Matters
Rare combination: genuine quiet (the private lane means near-zero street noise), solid location for walking most of central Paris, and a family-owned feel that shows up in details like the free daily tea service, 24-hour front desk, and concierge who actually books restaurant tables for you.
Adèle & Jules is a 60-room owner-run boutique hotel spread across two near-identical 19th-century buildings on a gated private lane off the Grands Boulevards. The rooms are small by international standards — this is Paris after all — but the color-coded floors (celadon, raspberry, purple, turquoise), Guimard-tile bathrooms, Atelier Cologne toiletries, and complimentary afternoon tea make it feel genuinely cared-for rather than just designed. It's the youngest sibling in a three-hotel family that includes Hôtel Thérèse and Hôtel Récamier.
