Request a room on a higher floor for better city views and less street noise

Why It Matters

It's a genuinely characterful Aloft, which is not something you can say about most in the chain. The 1925 Liberty Title Building gives it an architectural identity that the brand's newer purpose-built properties simply don't have — original windows, varied floor plans room to room, and a grand lobby that predates the hotel by decades.

This isn't a typical Aloft. Most properties in Marriott's Aloft sub-brand are purpose-built boxes with identical rooms in unremarkable locations. This one is housed in the 1925 Liberty Title & Trust Company Building on North Broad Street — a Classical Revival landmark with 27-foot soaring ceilings, triple-height windows, and original architectural bones that no cookie-cutter build could fake. The lobby alone, now home to the W XYZ Bar and some serious large-scale art, is worth lingering in. All 179 rooms sit directly above the Pennsylvania Convention Center, putting you within walking distance of City Hall, Reading Terminal Market, the Liberty Bell, and The Met Philadelphia concert venue.

Where You'll Stay

5 room types available

Aloft King
Standard

Aloft King

The standard entry-level king. Loft-inspired decor with warm accents, but rooms here vary slightly in layout floor to floor — a quirk of the 1925 building's original floor plan. Expect a sliding bathroom door (not for light sleepers sharing a room), a work desk, mini-fridge, LED TV with Netflix and Prime, and Dry Bar bath products. City views on higher floors.

Breezy King
Standard

Breezy King

A step up from the standard king, the Breezy King designation typically implies better natural light and airflow — consistent with the building's oversized historic windows. Same loft-style decor package as the Aloft King with modern tech amenities.

Corner King
Superior

Corner King

The corner positioning gives you a dual-aspect view across Center City — some face directly toward Philadelphia City Hall, which is genuinely impressive at night. Larger footprint than standard kings due to the original building's corner geometry. Otherwise the same in-room tech and amenity package.

Queen/Queen Room

Two queen beds make this the family-friendly or group option. Same loft aesthetic and tech setup as the king rooms. The mini-fridge is a practical bonus for families. All rooms are pet-friendly under the hotel's AARF program.
