Why It Matters
One of the few large luxury resorts in Phuket actually set within a national park, giving it genuine quiet and a sense of seclusion. The dining lineup is unusually strong for a beach resort — Zuma (the global Japanese brand) opened at the Beach House, Dara does modern Thai with a rooftop stargazing observatory, and Age is a serious grill restaurant. The Layan Life wellness center goes well beyond the usual spa, offering IV therapy, AI diagnostics, cryotherapy, and traditional Thai medicine programs under one roof. It was also featured in the Netflix film 'Mother of the Bride'.
Anantara Layan sits on a sheltered private cove on Phuket's northwest coast, right on the edge of Sirinath National Park.
