Why It Matters
One of South Korea's most prominent luxury coastal hotels, operated by Ananti Inc. under a Hilton affiliation. The complex concept — hotel rooms, natural hot springs, bookstore, retail, multiple restaurants, and a coastal walking path all in one seafront compound — is unique in the Korean market. The architecture is the real draw: tiered structures cascading toward the East Sea with expansive ocean views from nearly every room.
Ananti at Busan Cove sits on a secluded stretch of Busan's East Sea coastline in Gijang district — about 14 miles from downtown and a world away from the city crowds. The tiered, architecturally striking building climbs a hillside, and almost every room faces open water. It's part of a larger Ananti complex that includes the adjacent Ananti at Busan Village, giving guests access to a resort town of restaurants, shops, hot springs, and an ocean-front bookstore. The pool situation is a whole thing: there's a rooftop infinity pool, a separate McQueen's Pool with indoor/outdoor lanes and a kids pool, and a Water House running 100% natural hot springs — some are complimentary depending on room category, others cost extra.
