Started as a family restaurant in 1918, this 43-room boutique hotel sits right at the border of El Raval and Eixample — a neighbourhood that's genuinely local and a short walk from all the big sights. The building has been meticulously renovated to keep its Catalan Modernista bones intact: encaustic tile floors, vaulted ceilings, stained glass, and industrial ironwork throughout. Rooms are on the compact side (Barcelona real estate being what it is), but they're well-equipped and everything is exterior-facing. Still family-owned and still running the ground-floor restaurant that started it all.
