A 19th-century colonial mansion with only six suites, set on one of the most atmospheric streets in Salvador's Santo Antonio neighborhood. Owners Juan and Lola from Barcelona kept the original bones intact — the five-meter ceilings, the Baroque stonework — and layered in golden Buddhist wall hangings and Amazonian-herb toiletries, which shouldn't work together but absolutely do.
