Why It Matters
One of the few Mykonos boutique hotels where even the entry-level room has a private terrace with a jetted tub or Jacuzzi. Listed on both the Michelin Guide and Tablet Hotels. The Master Suite comes with a private infinity pool and a separate fitness room — a rare combo at this scale.
ASTY opened in 2022 on a hillside just above Mykonos Town — close enough to walk to Matogianni in about 10 minutes, far enough to feel genuinely quiet. The hotel takes Cycladic white-cube architecture and runs it through a darker filter: black upholstered chaises, moody dark-tiled pool, metallic light fixtures, and interiors done in earth tones with deep green marble bathrooms. It's a deliberate contrast to the white-on-white aesthetic that defines most of the island.
