Depart from the lodge's private dock by motorboat along the Paraná River (South America's second largest). Navigate to the hidden Yasy Waterfall for a swim, then continue to Awasi's floating deck on the Urugua-í river for kayaking. Subject to weather and local authority conditions.
Visit to Awasi's own protected reserve. Guests can kayak along the Yacuí creek, help guides inspect camera traps, or simply sit quietly on the creek's shore.
Awasi's signature exclusive experience. After the park closes to the public, a private natural-gas-powered train carries guests 9 miles through subtropical rainforest to the Garganta del Diablo station. From there, a 1km boardwalk crosses the upper Iguazú River to the 80-metre horseshoe cascade. Guests get nearly 30 minutes at the viewpoint crowd-free. Requires minimum 3-night stay; must be booked at least 15 days in advance.
Visit to a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center dedicated to native Misiones fauna. Opportunity to observe species up close and learn about local conservation efforts.
Cross-border visit for the panoramic perspective across the entire waterfall system. Choice of a 1.5 km direct walkway or a 12 km bike route from the park entrance.
Guided walk through a 3.5 km network of accessible walkways past San Martín, Bossetti, and Dos Hermanas falls. Early start recommended to beat crowds and spot more wildlife along the jungle paths.
