B.O.G. is Bogotá's first serious design hotel — and it arrived with a point of view. Portuguese designer Nini Andrade Silva drew her inspiration from Colombia's twin obsessions: gold and emeralds. The result is 55 rooms wrapped in natural stone, bronze, mosaics, and tinted glass, inside a geometric granite-and-aluminum building in La Cabrera. The palette is restrained — bronze, grey-green, warm gold — not garish. It's the kind of place that attracts fashionable locals to the bar whether they're staying or not.
