Insider Tip
1/5

Book a Bosphorus-facing suite, not a City Suite — the street-view rooms miss the entire point of staying here.

Why It Matters

Perched directly on the Bosphorus in Bebek — one of Istanbul's most desirable residential neighborhoods — with a private jetty, a Michelin-starred omakase restaurant (Sankai by Nagaya, Turkey's first), and a rooftop bar that reliably draws a stylish crowd. The 1950s heritage is real, not manufactured.

Istanbul has no shortage of Bosphorus-view hotels, but very few sit literally at the water's edge like this one. The original Bebek Hotel dates to the 1950s and became a legendary haunt for writers and artists in the 1980s. The Stay Collection took over in 2019, brought in architect Mahmut Anlar, and turned the place into 22 all-suite rooms packed with curvaceous Art Deco furniture, custom neon underlighting, and a rotating collection of Turkish art. The result is one of Istanbul's most stylishly idiosyncratic small hotels — and it now hosts Turkey's first Michelin-starred Japanese omakase restaurant.

Bebek Bosphorus Suite

Situated on the second and third floors, these 41 sqm suites face directly across the Bosphorus toward the Anatolian side. Tactile fabrics in bottle green, gold, and grey, a king bed dramatically backlit in pink neon, and a balcony from which you can watch ferries and tankers pass. The bathroom has a rain shower and twin sinks. Essentially what most people picture when they book this hotel.

City Suite

City Suite

The only category that doesn't face the water. At 41 sqm with French windows overlooking Cevdet Paşa Avenue, these are spacious, stylish, and quiet — actually better for light sleepers since you're away from the Roof Bar. Still get the same Mahmut Anlar design treatment, custom furniture, Nespresso, and Art Deco flair. Just don't expect a Bosphorus view.

Comfort Bosphorus Suite

On the first floor, this 41 sqm suite still gets you a Bosphorus-facing balcony — just closer to street level. Style mixes classic and contemporary furnishings with glossy finishes, fluorescent-purple underlighting, a cushioned bay window seat, and a rain shower bathroom. A solid entry point into the Bosphorus-view category.

Corner Suite

A 41 sqm suite on the top floor with dual-aspect windows covering both Cevdet Paşa Avenue and the Bosphorus. You get city energy on one side and water views on the other. King bed, pink neon underlighting, separate living area, and the marble bathroom with rain shower. The Michelin Guide calls these out specifically as a compelling middle-ground option.

Penthouse Bosphorus Suite

The top-floor flagship. Bright and airy with a wall of windows and a furnished private balcony looking straight out over the Bosphorus and Bebek bay — panoramic from every angle. There's a separate living area with custom furnishings, a king bed with signature neon-purple underlighting, a workspace, and a marble bathroom with rain shower and twin sinks. All the suites are 41 sqm, and this is the one with the best view in the building.
