Why It Matters
One of the very few properties with direct access to Es Trenc beach — Mallorca's most protected and arguably most beautiful stretch of sand. It's also a Design Hotels™ member with a genuine creative concept (recording studio, art lounge, curated programming) rather than just a beach hotel with nice decor.
Three once-neglected buildings on Mallorca's southern coast, brought back to life and redesigned by Studio Dreimeta into a 130-room adults-only retreat. The aesthetic is boho-Mediterranean done with real intention: terracotta floors, custom bamboo furniture, hand-woven fabrics, warm earth tones, and floral murals on the façades. The hotel sits directly on the Es Trenc beach trail — one of the few spots on Mallorca's most famous stretch of sand where you can literally walk from your sunbed to the water's edge. Breakfast is included, bikes are free, yoga happens several times a week, and the NENI restaurant means you don't have to leave the property to eat well.

A hidden boules court tucked within the hotel's lushly planted garden. Easy to miss on arrival — ask the team to point you there.
Direct cliff jumping into the sea from the hotel's garden terraces — a genuine and unusual perk of the property's cliff-top position. Stairs lead back up to the hotel's sunbed area.
Held 2–3 times per week throughout the season in multiple settings: the open-air cliff terrace, the cactus garden, the wooden deck, and the panoramic Seaview Room in the Poolhouse. Fully equipped with Lotuscrafts mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, and blankets. The outdoor sunrise sessions are a particular draw.
A fully equipped 24-hour gym. Guests note it has limited equipment by larger-hotel standards but covers the basics well for a boutique property.
Free use of Stevens mountain bikes and e-bikes for guests (subject to availability — worth reserving in advance at reception). The hotel curates a range of local bike routes from quick café rides into Colònia de Sant Jordi to longer coastal and inland tours.
Snorkel equipment available for guests. The waters off Es Trenc's protected coastline are clear and notably clean given the beach's protected status.

Developed in collaboration with German recording artist Clueso, Studio C is built into the former swimming pool of the Poolhouse building. It includes a professional recording studio, a curated vinyl collection, a Bain Douche-style sunken stage for impromptu concerts and jam sessions, and lounge space. Literary events and unplugged performances also happen here.
Guests can borrow Volvo EX30 and EX40 electric models for a complimentary test drive. A practical way to explore the south of the island without a rental car, and a genuine differentiator from other hotels in the area.
Organised multi-day retreat programmes with external coaches covering yoga, pilates, barre, beach fitness, and more. Scheduled throughout the season — dates and instructors vary. Sessions take place in the Seaview Room and on the cliff-top yoga terrace.
