Blackberry Farm is a 4,200-acre Relais & Châteaux resort in Walland, Tennessee, sitting in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. What started as a six-room country inn in 1976 is now 68 accommodations, three serious restaurants, a full-service spa, and a working farm with its own creamery, larder, and gardens that feed the kitchen. The food program is genuinely exceptional — this is the place that made 'Foothills Cuisine' a real genre, with James Beard Awards for wine and service to back it up. Carriage House Suites
Built in 2015 and perched at the highest point on the property, these four suites offer unobstructed, sweeping views of the Great Smoky Mountains. The best of the four is the Hillsboro room. Each has a private veranda (porch swing included), wood-burning stone fireplace, antique-adorned living room, draped king bed with Frette x Blackberry Farm exclusive linens, and an ensuite bathroom with glass shower, jacuzzi soaking tub, and double vanity. Coffee service is delivered to your terrace each morning. Private golf cart included.

Nine rooms in the Guest House, each with king or twin beds and expanded bathrooms compared to the Historic Rooms. The shared Guest House living room is the real selling point — overstuffed sofas, two fireplaces, and a stone veranda with rocking chairs and commanding mountain views. A good pick if you want more space than the historic rooms but prefer communal living over a private cottage.

The largest double-occupancy accommodation on the property. Located among the Singing Brook Cottages on a wooded hillside, this is for guests who want maximum seclusion without giving up any luxury. Multiple lounging spaces, an expansive bathroom with double vanities and whirlpool tub, a separate dressing suite, a glass-enclosed living porch with wooden swing and fireplace, screened side porch, and a stone back patio. Private golf cart.
KingHill Cottages
The Hill Cottages are among the most spacious accommodations on the property, shaped by regional influence and modern American design with the lasting elegance of old-world antiques. Each is uniquely different. Stand-outs include indoor and outdoor fireplaces, a large screened-in back porch with rocking chairs, a dining nook, and soaking tub. Can accommodate up to four guests. KingHistoric Rooms
The original rooms dating back to when the Farm opened in 1976. Small and intimate, each one is individually decorated with period antiques — no two are alike. Located inside the Main House, steps from the dining rooms and on-property shops. Cozy and warm, like sleeping in a well-appointed country estate bedroom. King or queen options available; queen rooms are particularly well-suited for solo travelers.

A short walk down the path from the Main House, the Holly Glade suites balance convenience with seclusion. Classic American-style design with refreshed Blackberry antiques, colorful florals, striking modern art, and elegant finishes. Each has a private living room, covered porch with rocking chairs, fireplace, and a spacious bathroom with glass shower and jacuzzi tub. Comes with a private golf cart.
KingSinging Brook Cottage Suites
Perched on a wooded hillside at the Farmstead, these suites are about serious seclusion. The living room and sleeping area share one open space, with a king bed, sitting area with fireplace, quiet private porch, and a large bathroom with double vanities, walk-in shower, and separate tub. A key feature: adjacent suites can be connected via an internal door, creating a two-bedroom arrangement for families or groups. Private golf cart included.
