But the full package — Phytomer spa directly accessible from the marina, all 44 rooms with sea views, and a bar that transitions from indoor to outdoor depending on the season — makes it easy to spend several days without wanting to leave.
A 4-star seaside hotel on the Côte Bleue in Carry-le-Rouet, designed around the aesthetic of an ocean liner. The architecture, blue-and-white interiors, and port-facing views make the maritime theme feel entirely coherent rather than kitschy. The on-site Michelin-starred restaurant L'Oursin (one star in the 2026 Guide) elevates this from a nice boutique property into a genuine dining destination. Just 20 minutes from Marseille but decidedly less frenetic.

The entry-level rooms here still come with King-size beds and full port-and-sea views. Furniture is integrated into the walls yacht-style to maximise the sense of space. A wall-length desk extends into a bench seat facing the sea. Tight on paper (19–24m2) but the design makes it work.

Sentier du Lézard is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel concierge can suggest routes along the Côte Bleue coastal path.
The hotel has a partnership with Golf de la Côte Bleue. A 9-hole green fee is €35. A 1-hour private lesson with the pro is €50. The course sits between sea and pine forest.
The hotel can arrange visits to the calanques, scuba diving, and day boat excursions along the Côte Bleue. Carry-le-Rouet is an excellent base for this — the calanques are a short trip by sea.
Seasonal outdoor pool with sea views. Note: guests have described it as on the small side. Children permitted under parental supervision.
The Spa Bleu can be exclusively privatised for birthdays, bachelorette parties, weddings, and other celebrations.
