Blind Tiger Burlington is a 14-room guesthouse inside a grand red-brick Victorian mansion built in 1881 on Burlington's tony Hill neighborhood. Lark Hotels reopened the property in May 2023 after a meticulous redesign by Elder & Ash, filling its rooms with handmade, antique, and one-of-a-kind furnishings. The place runs more like a well-appointed private home than a hotel: no TVs, a 24/7 complimentary pantry stocked with snacks and drinks, a sunlit solarium for morning toast bars, and a candlelit bar stocked with handmade shrubs and tinctures.

Named after a Burlington juice bar, this suite has original hardwood floors, a spacious sitting area warmed by a gas fireplace, and a tiled bathroom with an antique clawfoot bathtub. One of the more generous rooms in the house.

Second-floor room named by a local Burlington newspaper. A writing desk sits in the bay windows overlooking the back garden, with seasonal views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains. King bed, two leather wingback chairs, and a private bathroom. Reviewers consistently call this one the best room in the house.
KingMikey's Woodhouse
One of 14 individually designed rooms. Named after a local Burlington personality or business, with their curated list of insider recommendations.
KingMini Bar
Named by Kate Wise, a veteran bartender from Hotel Vermont's Juniper Bar. A spacious below-stairs bedroom with its own walkout entrance to the west lawn and an adjacent lounge with a fireplace. Private bathroom included. The separate lounge and outdoor access make it feel like a private apartment.
KingMr. Sun
A two-room suite configuration, the most spacious accommodation in the guesthouse. Separate living space.
KingTreehouse
A third-floor room. Note: third-floor rooms at Blind Tiger Burlington have sloped, low ceilings due to the historic roofline. Full of character but not ideal for tall guests.

Secure on-site bike storage available for guests who bring bikes or rent locally. Popular with guests biking the Lake Champlain Causeway.
A library of books, board games, and puzzles is available throughout the common areas for guests — particularly in the solarium. No TVs in the rooms means these get actual use.
The fully stocked guest pantry with small-batch snacks, soft drinks, and the self-serve bar room with handmade shrubs and tinctures are available to guests around the clock. Help yourself.
The solarium and dining room are available for small private receptions and gatherings. The hotel has hosted events in these communal spaces.
No televisions in the guest rooms, but the team will lend you an iPad for use on the hotel grounds during your stay.
