Karma Village
Ethnic chic meets conscious hospitality. Traditional Javanese and Balinese architecture — dark teak, carved doorframes, open-air lounges — anchored by an art collector's eye and a genuinely slow pace. Not minimalist. Not flashy. Just beautifully considered.

Why It Matters
One of very few Bali properties that genuinely prioritises heritage architecture over contemporary minimalism. The entire compound is built from reclaimed antique joglo houses, each individually curated with indigenous art. Awarded One MICHELIN Key (October 2025). Part of the Blue Karma Secrets collection managed by Dijiwa Sanctuaries.
Blue Karma Village sits on a quiet road in Umalas — that calm pocket between Canggu and Seminyak that still feels like an actual village. Eighteen reclaimed teakwood buildings and fifteen traditional joglo structures have been carefully restored and filled with indigenous art, curated sculpture, and handcrafted details. Three pools, a Japanese-Peruvian restaurant, a serious spa, and a proper tea house round out the property. It earned a One MICHELIN Key in October 2025, placing it alongside Capella Ubud, Amandari, and the Four Seasons in Bali's inaugural Keys list.
