Boutique Hotel SEITNER HOF
Historic Bavarian farmstead meets understated boutique. Country-house calm without the stuffiness — family-run, regional products, a garden with old fruit trees, and a library tucked on the first floor. Not a design hotel, but consistently warm and well-kept.

Why It Matters
One of very few Michelin Guide-listed hotels in Munich's southern suburbs. Heritage-listed architecture, a standout on-site restaurant (Alte Brennerei) in a freestanding former distillery building in the garden, and a location that lets you escape the city without losing access to it.
A 4-star family-run boutique hotel in the village of Pullach im Isartal, about 20 minutes south of Munich by S-Bahn. The main building is a listed 19th-century Bavarian farmstead that has been in the Köhler family since 1859, with real wood parquet floors, thick walls, and period architecture updated with proper modern comforts. It's genuinely quiet here — but the S7 train station is a 5-minute walk, so Munich city center is fully reachable without a car.

A small library tucked away on the first floor — a quiet place to read. Regularly mentioned by guests as a genuine highlight.
