Owned by Andrew and Christina Brownsword, it runs as a proper country house hotel — 15 individually decorated rooms, log fires in panelled lounges, and a restaurant that takes its food seriously. No pool, no spa, no gym. What you get instead is stillness, antique-stuffed interiors, and cooking driven by produce from the Vale of Evesham.

The entry-level rooms at Buckland Manor, and still thoroughly comfortable. Intimate proportions with traditional detailing — soft furnishings, antiques, mullioned windows. Good for a solo traveller or couple wanting a cosy base without extra space.
Deluxe Rooms
Spacious rooms with garden views and a proper seating area to sink into. En-suite features both a bath and walk-in shower. One room in this category ('Delany') is dog-friendly at £20 per dog per night.
Four Poster Rooms
A single Superior Four Poster room located on the ground floor of the manor. Oak-panelled walls and a four-poster bed make it the most classically romantic option on the property. Good for anniversaries or special occasions.
Four-posterMaster Suites
The most generous rooms in the house. Spacious, elegantly furnished, with garden views and thoughtful details throughout. Two Master Suites exist — one features a vaulted ceiling. A guest noted these include heated bathroom floors, a deep soaking tub, and a separate shower.
KingSmall Deluxe Rooms
A step up in both views and bathroom spec. These rooms look out over either the gardens or the adjacent medieval church of St. Michael — both worthwhile. En-suite has both a full bath and a walk-in shower, plus a cosy seating area.
