A 19th-century Victorian inn sitting on a hilltop above Camden harbor, owned by two Dutch entrepreneurs — Raymond and Oscar — who gutted the historic bones and filled them with something genuinely unexpected: jewel-toned rooms named after Dutch colonial trading posts, a restaurant with four James Beard House dinners under its belt, and European design sensibility in full-on coastal Maine. The views are hard to beat: 180 degrees of Penobscot Bay, islands, and the Camden Hills, all visible from your bed. And Natalie's restaurant, run by Chef Jose Ochoa, is a legitimate destination — one of only a handful of Maine restaurants with a Wine Spectator Best of Excellence Award.

A separate 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom farmhouse on Chestnut Street directly behind the inn, originally built in 1871 and renovated in 2021. Sleeps up to 6 guests. Two living areas with gas fireplace, chef's kitchen with large island (seats 6), dining area (seats 8), breakfast bar (seats 6), large deck with outdoor dining furniture and loungers. Primary bedroom has ensuite soaking tub, walk-in shower. Other two bedrooms share a second bathroom. Spiral staircase to a 3rd-floor private gym and office with desk and printer. The largest and most over-the-top suite in the house. Three fireplaces — living room, bedroom, and bathroom.
