Camiral is a 540-hectare forested resort outside Girona that spent 25 years earning its reputation as Spain's top golf destination — first as PGA Catalunya, now rebranded under the Quinta do Lago umbrella. Two championship courses, a five-star hotel with 145 rooms, a serious wellness centre, and six dining outlets make this a full resort stay rather than just a golf trip. The 2031 Ryder Cup will be played here, a fact the resort leans into heavily. It sits about 20 minutes from Girona city and 70 minutes from Barcelona, making urban escapes easy, but the estate itself is self-contained enough that most guests never feel the need to leave.
