Why It Matters
One of the very few luxury boutique hotels in central Naples. Rooms inside the Galleria Umberto I — you look out directly onto the famous glass dome. The building itself (Palazzo Berio) was designed by Giulio Romano (protégé of Raphael) and rebuilt by Luigi Vanvitelli's workshop. The Michelin Guide rates it from €300/night.
Caruso Place is a small, design-forward boutique hotel spread across several historic addresses along Via Toledo — the main artery of central Naples. The anchor property is 16th-century Palazzo Berio, rebuilt in the 18th century by Carlo Vanvitelli (from drawings by his father Luigi), and rooms in the Dome View Collection are literally inside the Galleria Umberto I, one of Italy's great 19th-century iron-and-glass arcades. The hotel is named as a tribute to tenor Enrico Caruso, born in Naples, and that Neapolitan musical soul runs through the whole experience.

The hotel has a dedicated Neapolitan Music programme, rooted in the story of founder Manuela's childhood listening to classic Neapolitan songs on her father's gramophone. The hotel is named for tenor Enrico Caruso. Exact format not confirmed, but it's a genuine cultural identity thread — not just background music.
