The design team — Berlin agency Lambs & Lions, interior designer Annabell Kutucu and architect Vana Pernari — built something that feels like it grew out of the Dodecanese landscape rather than being dropped onto it.

Why It Matters
Opened in 2016, it essentially reset the bar for what a Rhodes hotel could be. The island had a long package-holiday rep, and Casa Cook came in with a strong editorial identity, thoughtful architecture and a real spa — and it got noticed. The Times called it Rhodes' most scenic hotel setting. The Telegraph called it a boho-chic retreat made for modern travellers.
Casa Cook Rhodes is a 119-room adults-only resort in the quiet village of Kolymbia on Rhodes' eastern coast, about 30 km from Rhodes Old Town. Low-slung white geometric buildings sit at the foot of rugged limestone hills, just a five-minute walk from the beach. Every room has a private veranda and either shared or private pool access — the whole place is engineered for slow days, long lunches and mellow DJ sets at golden hour.

White Rock Beach is 850m from the hotel — a 5–10 minute walk. Not a hotel beach but very close and easily walkable.
Bicycles available for hire to explore the village of Kolymbia and the surrounding coastal road.

Guided hikes up to Tsambika Monastery, which sits high on a hilltop above the hotel with panoramic views over the Aegean. A solid workout with a seriously good payoff at the top.
