Independently owned and operated since 2010, with AA 4-star rating and 2 AA Rosettes for Cocina. The only Derbyshire steakhouse with both a Josper Grill and a DRY AGER cabinet. Strong farm-to-fork story: beef comes directly from the owner's Walton Lodge Farm Estate. The hot tub and sauna suites are genuinely private (balcony hot tubs, not a shared facility). Casa Hotel is an independent 100-room four-star property on the edge of Chesterfield, opened in 2010 by entrepreneur Steve Perez. The Spanish influence runs deep — Perez grew up in Spain and his father ran a restaurant there — so you get Iberian-named bars, a tapas menu, and bold design choices alongside proper British comfort. The big draw is Cocina, the on-site steakhouse, which is the only restaurant in Derbyshire running both a Josper Grill and a DRY AGER dry-ageing cabinet, with beef sourced from the owner's own Walton Lodge Farm just four miles away.

Deluxe Room
The most accessible entry point. These doubles work for single or double occupancy and can be configured as twin beds on request. Emperor-sized bed with a Hypnos mattress, modern en-suite with rainfall shower, and all the standard Casa kit. Triple-glazed windows keep noise out well.
Emperor (super king) or Twin
Hot Tub & Sauna Suite
The most premium room type — only two of these exist at Casa. Private balcony with both a hot tub and a sauna, so you can alternate between the two. Emperor-sized Hypnos mattress, modern en-suite, robes and slippers, and a 42-inch smart TV. The closest thing to an in-room private spa experience in the area.

The suite with the private hot tub on the balcony. Step outside any time and soak. Robes and slippers included. A 42-inch smart TV, emperor Hypnos mattress, and all standard Casa amenities. Popular for anniversaries and romantic weekends. Multiple suites available at this level.

A step up in space over the Deluxe Rooms, with a separate lounge area that has its own TV and seating. Good for longer stays or if you want room to spread out after a day in the Peaks. Still on an emperor-sized Hypnos mattress, and adds robes and slippers to the standard amenity set.
