Why It Matters
Andreas Hofer used this castle as his headquarters during the 1809 Tyrolean Rebellion. Over 500 years of history, a fine-dining restaurant in the original vaulted cellar, and only 24 rooms and suites. It's the first and only 5-star hotel in the heart of Bolzano.
