Built as the centerpiece hotel for the 2024 International Horticultural Exhibition Chengdu, this 172-room property sits inside the Expo Park in the city's Eastern New Area. Two architecturally distinct buildings define the experience: the red sandstone Waterfall Pavilion, with 132 rooms and eight suites oriented toward a nightly waterfall cliff lighting show, and the lower-rise Habitat Pavilion, where all 32 rooms come with their own private hot spring. Five restaurants, two bars, a 520 sqm pool complex, and a hot spring sanctuary make it a genuine resort. Getting here takes effort from central Chengdu — roughly 50 minutes by taxi from the main train station — but that's partly the point: this place rewards guests who plan to stay put.
