Why It Matters
The only hotel in Saint-Tropez with its own private beach outright. La Vague d'Or is one of just a handful of three-Michelin-star restaurants on the Côte d'Azur. Holds 2 Michelin Keys (2024), a 97-point score on La Liste 2026, and Gault & Millau Exceptional Hotel status (2025). The Cheval Blanc Spa by Guerlain is also the only Guerlain spa in Saint-Tropez.
A near-century-old Provençal villa sitting right on Plage de la Bouillabaisse — which happens to be the only private beach owned by any hotel in Saint-Tropez. Just 32 rooms and suites, redesigned by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte in a palette of azure and ivory, with every corridor doubling as a gallery of ceramics by Roger Capron. The food and beverage program is serious: La Vague d'Or holds three Michelin stars under chef Arnaud Donckele, making it one of the most decorated restaurants on the entire Riviera.

The Maison offers a bespoke Bentley transfer to the village for guests who want to explore the market, port, and shops without driving.

The Artisans design bespoke family experiences each season. Children are given the full Cheval Blanc treatment — no plastic equipment, custom welcome amenities, and activities tailored to their age.
