Chileno Bay Resort & Residences
Contemporary coastal minimalism with a distinctly Baja soul. Think pale sandstone, bleached wood, pops of local artisan craft, floor-to-ceiling glass walls, and an indoor/outdoor flow that makes the Pacific feel like part of the room. Energetic and family-friendly without feeling chaotic.

Why It Matters
Forbes Travel Guide Five Stars (2024 and 2026), Michelin Two Key Distinction 2025, Condé Nast Traveler #1 Resort in Mexico (2023) and #2 in Western Mexico (2025), and T+L World's Best Awards 2024 #9 Favorite Resort in Mexico. It holds the only direct-access spot on Chileno Bay — a Blue Flag-certified beach that is genuinely swimmable, which is a rarity on this stretch of the Baja coast. The dining program is serious: COMAL earned a mention in Michelin's inaugural Mexico Guide.
Chileno Bay sits on one of the few genuinely swimmable beaches in all of Los Cabos — a protected cove with calm turquoise water, coral reefs, and sea turtles just offshore. Spread across 22 acres, the resort centers on a cascading three-tiered infinity pool that snakes down to the sand, with the H2O Cave watersports center right at the water's edge. Rooms start at a roomy 760 sq ft and come standard with private terraces, deep soaking tubs, and outdoor showers — and the villas feel like actual houses, some pushing 9,000 sq ft with rooftop pools, wine cellars, and butlers.
