Chozos Resort
Organic indigenous-inspired architecture meets vineyard luxury. Think earthy domed cabanas with artisan finishes, private plunge pools, and big Andes views — intimate and design-forward rather than grand resort.
Rent a car from Mendoza airport — the property is genuinely remote and taxis add up fast
Why It Matters
1 Michelin Key 2025. Sits on Dragonback Estate, the world's largest privately-owned vineyard at 820 hectares. The dome architecture is a direct homage to the Huarpe people and was conceived by artist Sergio Roggerone — every structure handcrafted by local artists. There is nowhere else in Mendoza quite like it.
Chozos Resort sits on Dragonback Estate — the largest privately-owned vineyard in the world at 820 hectares — in the Luján de Cuyo wine region at the foot of the Andes. The architecture draws directly from the Huarpe people: circular dome-shaped structures with vaulted ceilings over 4 meters high, built with mud, stone, wood, straw, and reed, all handcrafted by local artists. It earned 1 Michelin Key in 2025, making it one of only a handful of Michelin-recognized properties in Mendoza.
