Citizen House Hotel
Eclectic members-club residential: bold color blocking, speakeasy charm, and enough quirky touches (candy parlor, hidden photobooth, karaoke behind an unmarked door) to make it feel genuinely fun rather than stiff.
Ask about the hidden candy parlor near reception — stocked with sweets from France, South Korea, England, Turkey, and more.
Why It Matters
It's the only place in OKC where a hotel stay doubles as a full private-club membership for the duration of your visit — complete with a Michaelis Boyd-designed interior, a Ritz-Carlton-pedigreed executive chef, and a speakeasy that doesn't appear on any signage. Directly across the street from the Oklahoma City National Memorial.
Citizen House is a private members' club, boutique hotel, and co-working space rolled into three floors of a 12-story downtown tower completed in 2024. The hotel sits on the second floor with 16 apartment-style suites; guests get full access to the fourth-floor members-only club with its restaurant, bars, speakeasy, and game room. Designed by London/New York studio Michaelis Boyd, the interiors pulse with electric blues, periwinkle, blush, and rust tones, deliberately mismatched patterns, and graphic carpets — a look that feels more like a very stylish friend's apartment than a hotel.

How you'll actually spend your days.
Pool table in the Corner Pocket area within the Club floor game room.
The 3rd-floor co-working space — with private offices, dedicated desks, podcast room, boardroom, and library — can be added as an amenity to any hotel stay. Good option for guests who need professional workspace without leaving the building.
Late-night karaoke sessions in the hidden speakeasy off the Club floor. A regular feature, not a special-event-only thing.
A dedicated photobooth room within the Club space. Ask staff for the location — it's not prominently signposted.
A curated library space on the Club floor — part of the communal members' amenities accessible to hotel guests.
The club runs a curated events calendar covering culinary and mixology experiences, travel and culture nights, fine art, fashion, design, music, and philanthropy events. Hotel guests are invited to participate in events running during their stay.
Hotel guests get full run of the 4th-floor members-only club: the restaurant, Living Room bar, speakeasy, game room, library, lounges, candy parlor, and photobooth. This is the main draw of staying here versus any other downtown OKC hotel.
