citizenM Glasgow sits on Renfrew Street right in the thick of the city's theatre and arts district, a short walk from the Glasgow School of Art and a few minutes from Buchanan Street. The rooms are compact but smart — every one identical, every one kitted out with a mood-lit XL king bed, rainfall shower, and a tablet that controls everything. It's the kind of place design-curious travellers appreciate: bold conceptual art on the walls, Vitra furniture in the living room, and 24/7 barista coffee available without having to talk to anyone at 6am.

Each is a compact, cleverly engineered space for two adults: XL king bed, wall-to-wall window, rainfall power shower in a glass enclosure, and an iPad that controls mood lighting, blackout blinds, temperature, and the smart TV. You can stream Netflix, Prime, or Disney+ via Chromecast at no extra charge. The bathroom is partly open to the room with just a glass partition — not ideal for light sleepers sharing a room. Parquet floors, in-room safe, and quality toiletries round it out. No kettle, no minibar, no room service.

The ground-floor communal living room is stocked with books, curated art, Vitra furniture, and enough power outlets to be a proper working space. Open co-working is free for mycitizenM+ members Mon–Fri 11am–6pm. For day guests without membership, the space is accessible as a hotel guest.
citizenM's art programme — called collectionM — puts conceptual artworks throughout the hotel: on the facade, in the living room, in the lifts, and in the meeting spaces. Not a passive gallery but an integrated part of the hotel environment. Works are chosen to provoke thought rather than blend into the background.
Five dedicated meeting rooms on-site, bookable separately via societym.com or the Marriott platform. Rooms come equipped with superfast Wi-Fi, smart TVs, writable walls, and cables.
