Why It Matters
The only luxury resort with direct slope and trail access on the Alpe di Siusi plateau. UNESCO World Heritage location, Michelin Key recognition, and COMO Shambhala spa with genuinely distinctive Tyrolean treatments like the traditional hay bath. One of very few COMO properties that is also a Leading Hotels of the World member.
COMO Alpina Dolomites sits at 1,800 metres on the Alpe di Siusi plateau — one of Europe's largest high-altitude meadows — inside a UNESCO World Heritage site. The building itself is striking: quartzite and wood cladding outside, an entry passage designed to mimic a rock crevice, floor-to-ceiling windows everywhere inside. Opened in 2022 under COMO's management, it earned a Michelin Key in both 2024 and 2025, and the Falstaff Hotel Guide named it Best Ski Hotel in South Tyrol. Sixty rooms, four dining venues, a full COMO Shambhala spa, ski-in/ski-out access in winter, and direct trail access in summer. It is seasonal — open December to March and June to October.
