Barefoot luxury meets Asian-influenced wellness. The vibe is serene and intentionally low-key — no car traffic, no noise from the outside world. The original hotel building has a social, communal feel, while the newer Spartan modernist villas and residences are designed for maximum seclusion. Celebrities and honeymooners come specifically to not be found.

Why It Matters
One of the few true private-island resorts accessible by commercial flight from New York or Miami, with daily transfers. The COMO Shambhala spa here was among the group's first retreats and remains a benchmark. It earned a 2025 Michelin Key designation, holds an EarthCheck Silver certification, and was ranked #14 on Condé Nast Traveler's 2025 Readers' Choice Top Resorts in the Caribbean. The food also punches well above the usual Caribbean resort standard — Lotus has a genuine reputation as one of the best restaurants in the Turks and Caicos.
COMO Parrot Cay is a private-island resort sitting on 1,000 acres of largely untouched land about 925 kilometres southeast of Miami, reachable only by a 15-minute drive from Providenciales airport to Leeward Marina followed by a 35-minute boat transfer. Four miles of white sand beach, a world-class COMO Shambhala spa, and villas with private pools make it one of the Caribbean's most coveted addresses. The design, by British decorator Keith Hobbs, is all whitewashed interiors, soft cotton, and teak — beach-house cool with a quiet contemporary edge.
