Point Yamu
Contemporary resort design with strong Peranakan and Thai cultural influences. Calm and design-forward, with a wellness undercurrent running through everything. Feels more like a private estate than a hotel.

Why It Matters
One MICHELIN Key holder (2024 and 2025), named 4th in Condé Nast Traveler's Top 15 Resorts in Thailand 2025. The Paola Navone-designed interiors are among the most architecturally distinctive of any Thai resort. Pool villas range up to 650 sqm — the COMO Pool Villa — and the resort spans 79 rooms and suites plus 27 private pool villas across 11 room categories.
COMO Point Yamu sits at the very tip of Cape Yamu on Phuket's quieter east coast, staring out at the limestone karsts of Phang Nga Bay. This is not a beach resort in the traditional sense — the waterfront is rocky — but the trade-off is 360-degree views, a 100-metre infinity pool, and a genuine sense of being away from it all. Italian designer Paola Navone did the interiors, and it shows: cool whites, aquamarine tiles, Peranakan-patterned floors and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the bay like a painting.
