Capacity is explicitly limited due to high demand — book well in advance, especially for weekends and during TEFAF (March) or Maastricht Carnival.

Why It Matters

Winner of Best Small Hotel of the Netherlands 2023 and Best Hotel of the BENELUX 2025. Listed in the Michelin Guide and Tablet Hotels. Rated 9.4–9.5 on Booking.com across 750+ reviews. All seven rooms have distinct characters drawn from real family members — Rose's room is pink with tableware references, Arthur and Jack are the grand 36m² top-tier suites.

Cousins Boutique Hotel is exactly what the name says: a seven-room hotel owned and operated by actual cousins, Joe Pereboom and Jean van der Heijden. The building was once a hat factory belonging to the Scottish Campbell family, who settled here nearly a century ago. Each room is named after a different Campbell family member, so the history isn't just backstory — it's baked into every detail of your stay.
