Why It Matters
Listed on both Tablet Hotels and the MICHELIN Guide. One of very few true boutique properties in Canmore — 12 rooms only, personally run, with a consistent character that larger resort hotels can't replicate. The on-site restaurant heritage (Devil's Table, then One Love Caribbean Café) brought authentic Caribbean cooking to the Rockies, and the current ownership has layered in a wellness and retreat programming dimension.
Creekside Villa is a 12-room boutique lodge sitting above Cougar Creek on the quieter Benchlands side of Canmore, with Bow Valley views and the mountains right at the door. The design leans hard into '70s nostalgia — warm wood accents, vintage furnishings, retro touches — mixed with genuinely comfortable modern amenities. It's a short drive from Banff National Park and steps from Cougar Canyon trails, making it a solid base for active trips without sacrificing comfort.

Cougar Creek Suite
A corner suite on a single level — no stairs, no split level. At 300 sq ft it's the most compact room category, but the vaulted ceiling keeps it from feeling tight. Named after the creek running alongside the property, and the positioning gives it views of either the garden or the mountains depending on the specific unit. Good for couples or solo travelers who prefer simpler layouts.

A recently renovated standalone apartment that's in a completely different category from the hotel rooms — 1,600 sq ft with three separate bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a full kitchen (stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave), a small balcony, and a washing machine. Sleeps 8. Freshly renovated with a modern-meets-mountain aesthetic: stone countertops, pendant lighting, and garden or mountain views.
