Why It Matters

Tablet Hotels-listed and Michelin Guide-selected. One of the few urban Sapporo hotels with a genuine rooftop onsen experience, direct bookings guaranteed lowest price, and a real local art program running across all standard rooms. Holds a Sakura Quality Green sustainability certification — one of only a handful of Sapporo hotels to achieve it.

Cross Hotel Sapporo is a design-forward urban hotel in the middle of Sapporo's business and cultural district, a 5-minute walk from JR Sapporo Station. Opened in 2007 and operated by ORIX Hotels & Resorts, it has 181 rooms across 18 floors, split between artsy Standard Floor rooms (4F–13F) decorated with original works by 13 Hokkaido artists, and premium Cross Floor rooms (14F–17F) with lounge access and elevated in-room amenities. The signature draw is the 18th-floor rooftop public bath with panoramic city views — both indoor and semi-outdoor pools, open until 1am.
