Das James sits right on Flensburg's marina promenade in the Sonwik harbour district, on a protected fjord that pushes into the Schleswig-Holstein coast near the Danish border. The building is a listed red-brick former workshop, now home to 81 rooms and suites that mix country-house warmth with urban loft geometry — wide-open spaces, raw textures, and bold design sitting alongside tactile materials and British-inflected details.
