Das Kaltenbach is a family-run, 4-star alpine apart-hotel on a sunny mountain plateau in Kaltenbach, Zillertal — 350 meters from the valley station of the Hochzillertal ski area. Built in 2014 in the style of a traditional Tyrolean mountain village, it has 45 rooms, apartments, suites, and chalets finished in oak and Arolla pine, with a rooftop WaldSPA that genuinely earns the view. Hosts Stephan and Isabella Haas, along with their three children, run things personally — Stephan is a certified mountain guide who leads guests on hikes.
