Why It Matters
One of the few hotels in Bad Füssing with a direct pipeline to the Ursprungsquelle — the original thermal spring. Das Mühlbach traces its roots to a tavern founded on this very spot in 1798 by Johann Freudenstein — long before anyone knew hot springs ran beneath the Lower Bavarian countryside. The hot springs changed everything. Today it's a 4-star superior thermal spa hotel with 67 rooms and suites, 2,000 m² of thermal spa space fed directly by the original Bad Füssing sulfur-rich spring from more than 1,000 meters underground, two restaurants, and a medical centre with an in-house physician on site.
