JAMS is a 4-star music-themed boutique hotel in Munich's Haidhausen district, where the concept goes all the way in. Every floor is a homage to a different music legend, David Bowie rides the elevator with you, and each of the 65 rooms comes with a Crosley record player plus borrowing rights to 250+ LPs from the lobby. The hotel opened in 2016 in the former Hotel Preysing and has since won the MUSE Gold Award, German Brand Award, and Tophotel Newcomer Award.

Six rooms in the panoramic attic, 18–30 sqm. LP cover art as statement wall pieces, fold-out balconies with rooftop views over Munich. King-size bed (200×200) in a cosy VIP-style layout. These are the rooms to get — they're the only category with built-in air conditioning as standard, and the minibar here is fully stocked (water, soft drinks, Bavarian beer). Separate (not open-plan) bathrooms.
