Domaine de Naxhelet
Elegant working estate. Old stone buildings and natural wood parquet meet smart TVs and marble bathrooms. Agricultural roots, but polished edges. Feels properly Belgian — understated, quality-obsessed, not flashy.
POLLEN is only open Thursday–Saturday evenings and Friday lunch — plan your nights around this if you want the fine-dining menu
Why It Matters
One of Belgium's most complete estate-hotel packages: golf, spa, fine dining, farm, vineyard, and bakery all on one 480-hectare property. Michelin Guide selected. Naxhelet Golf Club was the first in Wallonia to earn the GEO sustainability label and has hosted Ladies European Tour events in 2022 and 2023.
A 4-star château-farm hotel on a sweeping plateau between the Mehaigne and Meuse valleys, about halfway between Liège and Namur. The estate has been in the Jolly family for generations — now managed by the eighth generation — and the connection to the land is real: vegetables from the garden go directly to the kitchen, wine comes from the on-site vineyard, and bread is baked on-site. That self-sufficiency shapes everything from chef François Durand's plant-forward menus at POLLEN to the 30-hole GEO-certified golf course designed by Martin Hawtree.
