Why It Matters
One of the few 5-star hotels in Marrakech with a heated outdoor pool open year-round (29°C minimum, all seasons). The entire property is single-storey with no shared corridors — every suite opens directly onto its own private garden. The newly reopened W&S Wellness & Spa draws day visitors from across Marrakech in its own right.
Domaine des Remparts sits on two hectares of La Palmeraie, about 15 minutes by car from the medina, on a flat, single-storey estate where storks and tibipt birds nest in the palms above your terrace. Thirty-two suites surround the gardens — each with its own fireplace and private garden — and a newer set of Prestige Suites adds private heated pools for those who want to go all in. New management has been steadily renovating since around 2020, and the result is a property that earns its quiet, estate-like feel rather than just claiming it.

Junior Suite
The entry-level suite and the most numerous on the property. Each one is uniquely decorated by the owner's wife, Jalila — so rattan headboards in one, teal tile floors in another, botanical murals somewhere else. All have ceiling heights of around 4 metres, which gives the interior real air. A private covered terrace opens directly onto a semi-private garden. Fireplaces make winter evenings here genuinely cosy.
King (divisible into two singles on request) · 130 sqmLodge
Set slightly apart from the main suite cluster. The Lodge leans into a tent aesthetic — more textural, more rustic than the polished suites nearby — without sacrificing the essentials. A small private terrace with two lounge chairs looks onto the garden. It's the room for travellers who want something with a bit more character and seclusion. Reviewers describe it as having a 'roots' vibe.
Pavillon
The Pavillon is effectively two Junior Suites joined by a private living room — ideal for families or two couples travelling together who want separate bedrooms and a shared communal space. Its own private massage room is the standout feature. The terrace at 39 m² is generous enough to feel like an outdoor room.

Larger than the Junior and configured with a proper separate living room. The bedroom is 50 m² on its own — noticeably spacious — and comes with two full bathrooms rather than one. Same fireplace, same private terrace setup as the junior category, just with considerably more room to spread out.
King Size · 100 sqmSuite Prestige
Ten of these newer suites represent the property's highest tier. The defining feature is a private heated pool. Guests who've been upgraded into one consistently call it a highlight — the decor is fresh, taste is impeccable, and having your own pool rather than sharing the communal ones changes the stay entirely.
