Drift Palm Springs is an industrial-chic boutique hotel squarely in downtown Palm Springs that skips the neighborhood's midcentury modern playbook entirely. The 1.8-acre property leans into a Spanish-Colonial-meets-Moorish-Desert architecture rooted in Baja minimalism — raw steel, brick, and cedar, softened by handmade ceramics from Mexico City, artisanal textiles from Oaxaca, and locally sourced art and furniture. Rooms run from solo-traveler studios all the way up to four-bedroom suites with full kitchens, making it a genuine alternative to the area's vacation rental glut.

Two king bedrooms sharing one full ensuite bathroom, plus a full kitchen, living room, and a patio or balcony fitted with a hammock chair. A solid choice for two couples or a small family.
King2-Bedroom Zen Garden Suite
The upgrade over the standard 2BR — same layout but each bedroom gets its own ensuite bathroom, plus the extra 50 sq ft. Two couples sharing this one won't have to negotiate morning bathroom time.
King3-Bedroom Suite
Three king bedrooms, two baths, full kitchen, spacious living area, and a patio or balcony. Sleeps six comfortably — designed for a crew that actually wants to stay together rather than renting multiple rooms.
King4-Bedroom Mountain View Suite
Same king-bed-times-four and three ensuite bathroom configuration as the Standard 4BR, but oriented for San Jacinto Mountain views. At 1,336 sq ft it is slightly more compact than the Standard — the trade-off is the view.
King4-Bedroom Standard Suite
The biggest footprint on property at 1,628 sq ft. Four king bedrooms, three ensuite bathrooms, full kitchen, living room, and patio or balcony. Sleeps eight. More square footage than a lot of Palm Springs vacation rentals with all the hotel service baked in.
KingADA Accessible Room
Thoughtfully designed accessible rooms featuring roll-in shower with grab bars and handheld showerhead, open-under sinks, audio and visual alarms, doorbell alert system, elevator access, and ADA parking.
Studio
The solo escape (or cozy couple room) at Drift. Clean lines, a king bed, mini fridge, stocked pantry, and streaming TV. The aesthetic is the same pared-down Baja minimalism as the rest of the hotel — don't expect closets or clutter.
