Eagles Villas
Contemporary coastal minimalism. Stone and glass architecture, Aegean-hued interiors, a calm and private atmosphere. This is not a poolside party resort — it's for people who want to disappear into their own terrace for a few days and occasionally venture to a very good restaurant.
Book Kamares restaurant early — it's adults-only, à la carte, and reservation is required. It's the standout dining experience on property.
Why It Matters
Every one of the 42 villas comes with a heated private plunge pool and panoramic sea views — there are no 'bad' villas here. Access to a Michelin-starred dining program (chef Alexandros Tsiotinis) and a full ELEMIS spa at Eagles Palace are included in the resort ecosystem. The property holds a Green Key sustainability certificate and is a World Spa & Wellness Awards 2019 finalist.
Eagles Villas is a collection of 42 private-pool villas set on a green hillside above sister property Eagles Palace, opened in 2017 by fourth-generation hoteliers Dinos and Lena Tornivoukas — a family whose hospitality roots trace back to 1925. Every villa looks out over the Aegean, with the island of Ammouliani and the forested coastline of Mount Athos framing the view. The location is genuinely remote: 113 km from Thessaloniki airport on Halkidiki's Athonite peninsula, and that distance is part of the appeal.
