Why It Matters
One of only two Forbes Five-Star resorts in Palm Beach county. The 42,000 sq ft Eau Spa is also Forbes Five-Star — both designations at the same property is rare. The 2024 addition of Nobu Manalapan added a global dining name to an already strong restaurant lineup. Formerly a Ritz-Carlton, it has held its own as an independent since the conversion.
Eau Resort & Spa sits on seven acres of private Atlantic coastline in Manalapan — technically a sliver of a town between Lantana and Ocean Ridge, about 12 miles south of West Palm Beach. The champagne on arrival is chilled and waiting.
