Why It Matters
Home to GOTTHARDT'S by Yannick Noack, which earned Two Michelin Stars just six months after opening in 2024. Chef Noack is Germany's youngest two-star chef. The hotel also sits on the quiet, no-through-traffic bank of the Moselle directly opposite the Koblenz Altstadt.
A modern white building on the banks of the Moselle that deliberately channels a ship's aesthetic — the nautical awnings, the clean lines, and the direct water frontage all lean into it. The FÄHRHAUS packs 37 rooms and 10 suites into a tight, well-designed building where the Moselle-facing rooms earn their premium with proper river views. The big headline is GOTTHARDT'S by Yannick Noack, a Two-Michelin-Star restaurant that opened in December 2024 and earned its stars by June 2025 — remarkably fast. But the rest of the hotel holds its own too.

Augusta Suite
The flagship suite at 63 m² on the 5th floor. A private balcony looks straight down the Moselle valley. The freestanding bathtub has a direct panoramic river view — an unapologetically theatrical touch, but it works. Two bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a proper dining table make it genuinely self-contained.

Confluentia Suite
Named after the Roman settlement at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle. A suite with proper riverside atmosphere, clean design, and plenty of room to spread out.
Marina Suite
A suite-tier room overlooking the hotel's private marina. Spacious by any measure — fine materials, a proper living area, and the thoughtful details the FÄHRHAUS is known for.
Marinakoje
Marina-side room with views over the hotel's private yacht harbour. A quieter, more intimate outlook than the full Moselle view rooms. Can connect with a Moselkoje for families or groups.
Moselkoje
The entry-level room but absolutely not a compromise. At 25 m², it's tidy rather than spacious, with a side view of the Moselle. Choose king or twin bed, bath or shower. Wheelchair-accessible units available in this category. Can connect to a Marinakoje next door — useful for families or friends travelling together.

Same footprint and spec as the Moselkoje but adds a private balcony with a Moselle view. The step up worth paying for if you want morning coffee on the water — and it shows in the booking patterns.

A spacious suite with elegant living and dining areas. Separate sleeping quarters. The Rhenania Suite hits the sweet spot between the standard suites and the top-floor Augusta — good for longer stays or anyone who wants a proper room to decompress in.
The Penthouse
Top of the building, 80 m², with a private rooftop terrace that gives you sunrises and sunsets over the Rhine and Moselle confluence. Two bathrooms plus a guest toilet, a kitchenette with a large dining table, and separated sleeping quarters. State-of-the-art Loewe tech throughout. Absolute privacy — the hotel's most private accommodation by a wide margin.
